Served as the PGA Director of Golf Operations & Membership and as the face of the club to members, guests, and the local community, actively changed the culture of a club and membership that possessed an outstanding Donald Ross-designed golf course.

Tournament Operations & Merchandising

Completely revamped the club’s tournament schedule after being charged with the responsibility to start from scratch.

Secured & executed the 97th Chicago District Golf Association Championship in 2016, the 87th Illinois State Amateur Championship in 2017, the AJGA Midwest Junior All-Stars Championship in 2017, and an Illinois PGA Stroke Play Championship in 2017.

Created weekly men’s & ladies leagues from scratch, including clinics, wine tastings, and more.

Fully renovated the club’s intimate golf shop to provide more efficient use of space, a fresh look and shopping experience, and more appropriate working conditions for staff.

We enjoyed YE gross sales of $275K in 2017 v. $121,000 for FY 2015, maintaining a GPM of 29%, achieved via a 5X increase in softgoods sales, much greater selection, and a dramatic improvement in service.

Member Relations

Served as the club’s Membership Director capacity since shortly after beginning tenure as PGA Head Professional.

Beginning in 2017, became heavily involved with the club’s financial accounting systems and oversaw all A/R & A/P with the assistance of a CPA, expanding my skill set.
